IN GEORGE WE TRU$T
Fascism sews the seeds of it's own destruction like all forms of greed and self centeredness. When the fascists gained so much power in the U.S. during the 1920s, with the help of their KKK followers and a liberal sprinkling of vote rigging, big buck advertising etc. they imploded the stock market, caused the great world wide depression and set the stage for WW2 in doing so as well as in other ways including arming all sides to the teeth and promoting inflamatory ideologies. Only a few at the top of the food chain benefitted from everyone else's demise in the stock market crash in 1929. George Herbert Walker was one and Prescott Bush, his son in law, was not. Walker helped Bush. He employed him and they fought for fascism, or corporate control of government together. Others of the "industrial elite" were in this war of the industrial elite including names like Henry Ford, the DuPonts etc and they fought in large part against FDR, not only by giving Hitler great financial support but through propagandizing again Roosevelt in papers owned by fascists in this country and abroad and other such ploys. I can only guess as to whether or not Bush and Walker joined with others to encourage and finance an a coup the gist of which was to get an army of veterans to march on Washington to seize Roosevelt on the pretense that it was to protect him, FDR, and then run the everyday affairs of government as they saw fit.
Our money is just paper and cheap metal. It is only worth that which it represents. What does it represent? Goods, labor and the word of the country issuing it. The American Dollar was once the standard by which other currencies were set, the prefered currency in international trade and a pillar of the U.S. economy. Now other countries are switching to the Euro as the prefered currency, notably the mid east, and China has stopped buying dollars and is buying run down U.S businesses instead. They have also started doing business in their own upwardly mobile Yaun rather than dollars.
What does a dollar bill represent? We have almost no remaining industry left here in the U.S. Our consumers are dwindling in number and individual wealth. Our balance of trade is becoming unbalanced. Rapidly. Our debt is going through the ceiling as it did during the Reagan (Bush I) reign. Well not exactly as it did during Reagan's (Bush I's) reign. Actually it is much faster and the corruption of the owners of the Republican party has surfaced sooner and more massivly. Whereas they the had the S&L "scandal" (scandal suggests that it was an anomaly) the Bush II regime has had Enron, Arthur Anderson, WorldCom and others with close connections to this administration.
Their greed and self righteousness will not only starve us all but will suffocate them in the process. And the Dollar? Remember Confederate Money? Nazi Money? The 1,000% per year inflation of the Money in Argentina and other Reagan era (Bush I era) fascist death squad states? The massive impoverishment of the people of Chili under Kissinger supported brutal fascist dictator Pinochette?

Wow, interesting read. Thanks.
Thanks mlwhitt, ...I try but tend to be too upset when I write to express myself well. I wish I could say I am creative too but this is all history and has been written about from various view points by many people. I try to make it interesting and the truth is generally more interesting than the facade we are given or the conspiracy theories that come from...who knows where
I really do worry that we're in for a bout of hyper-inflation. People think it can't happen here, but, ah, take a look at who's running things. Think they give a damn about the United States of America? And Greenspan (I mean -spin)! Just the type that would cheer about 30 million homeless. Gotta cure the country of collectivism and government of the people! Die, liberal, die!
They say with a certainity that dismisses the possibility of argument that we have virtually no inflation now. Everything just costs more. Well everything but labor hence the cheering about the massive unemployment and underemployment...
