The Rovian Speech Writing Machine v 2.0; Terrorism in Action

War is peace, hate is love, etc. Anyone who has read 1984 will recognize these words concerning the formula of achieving totalitarian control through language manipulation and terror. Perpetual war against one dreaded enemy or another and the subsequent, mostly voluntary, relinquishing of all liberty, humanitarian rights and humanity itself. While a majority of people can see this in Bush and his colleagues and followers Mike Malloy* has put together a good audio clip (15 minute MP3 about 2 megabytes)of Rovian BushSpeak with an explanatory commentary which shows very nicely how closely his canned speeches follow the formula for totalitarian control outlined in Orwell's book 1984. George Orwell worked for British intelligence and knew what he was talking about from inside experience. None of this was really new even then and Benjamin Franklin said;

"people willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both"

With the slight possibility that traitor Karl Rove will be leaving his position as "Bush's brain", I have started a preliminary study for a script based on the Orwellian formula, to replace him at least as far as speech writing goes;

Your suggestions for additional ingredients are welcomed.

* Mike Malloy is a talk show host who currently broadcasts on Air America radio.

I'm honored Elaine...I might even make the Rovian Speech Writer Functional.... shouldn't be too hard though I want to work a little more on the choices and work out the static, conecting parts. Also might include some sub-choice qualifiers on some of the choices. Not sure what blogwhored means but it sounds sexy...

I have been busy today working on different things including the site I am maintaining for a local group that sends ambassadors to Washington. They are talking about sending one to Texas to join Cindy Sheehan. Just thought I'd mention it here in case I don't get back to your blog to comment on your article concerning this sad matter.

Here is Elaine's post with excerpts from this post. I am talking with my copyright lawers about royalty payments at this time. That's a joke.

HA! What a smarty pants! It's good we still can laugh. Very clever. I'll definitely check back. Sometimes necessity demands that I communicate in corporate speak, and this tool will assist me. Thank you.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I want to work on it some more to make it both more serious and more humorous. More serious as a tool to show the simple Orwellian (or Rovian) psychology at work which should also bring out the ironic dark humour in what is happening re totalitarianism.

The code is simple cosmic rays, it took me a while to get it right because I am a rank amateur but now that I have it will be very easy to adapt to writing corporate memos, excuses for not having ones homework done, bills paid etc on time, why I was late and where I was honey and so on...not to mention excuses for specific invasions of other people's countries and comments for trolls to post.

More adaptation ideas and better lines for the Rovian Speech Writer input choices and connecting phrases are welcomed here.
